Dell SAN Switch for AX100: SAN Switch for AX100
The Dell SW 3250 is designed to provide high-availability switching for organizations building small-to-medium-sized storage networks. The SW3250 provides an affordable way to increase operational efficiency and staff productivity by consolidating hardware resources in an easy-to-manage SAN infrastructure. Ideal for a first SAN in a department or work group, this switch gives organizations the flexibility to build cost-efficient, easy-to-manage SANs. The SW3250 is a high-performance 2 Gbit/sec Fibre Channel switch that helps keep data flowing and applications running.
This switch must be used in conjunction with the QLA200 HBA and Dell/EMC AX100 can not be combined with other HBAs or Switches
This Dell SW 3250 is great for a first SAN in either a workgroup or a department. The switch combines enterprise quality with entry-level affordability and is fully compatible with all Brocade 1 and 2 Gbit/sec switches and directors, providing a flexible foundation for entry-level SANs. Dell HBA for AX100: Host Bus Adapter for AX100
Dell's 2Gb QLA200 Host Bus Adapter (HBA) is an easy-to-use, reliable, scalable and resilient HBA designed for small and medium-sized businesses and ideal for a company's first SAN. The QLA200 features a standards-based, fully integrated single-chip design with integrated RISC that offloads processing from the host CPU. Offering 20,000 IOPS at 2Gb Fibre Channel speeds, the QLA200 also includes GUI-based management software with installation wizards, making it ideal for IT managers who may not have the time, training or staff to quickly build and manage a SAN.
